I rode my first horse when I was five years old. My grandparents took me to a little trail riding barn in the Lake District of England. They thought it would be a sweet, one-time experience.

What they didn’t realize was that it would shape the rest of my life.

I grew up riding at a show barn in Westhoughton, England, completely horse-obsessed from the start. It didn’t take long before I fell in love with jumping. The power. The partnership. The feeling of flying. I competed on barn-owned horses, attended each and every summer camp, and leased a few along the way, pouring my heart into each one.

Then at fourteen, my grandparents gave me the greatest gift of my life — my first horse.

Her name was Cassie. She was a 17.2hh Clydesdale x Thoroughbred (Pictured above). Tall. Chunky. Powerful. Absolutely breathtaking. (I’ve always had a soft spot for the tall, solid ones.)

Cassie was everything. Her Thoroughbred side lived for the jumps and the second we entered an arena, she’d clock the course and light up. And yes, some horses don’t love jumping… but mine did. She thrived on it. On the ground, her draft side showed - steady, grounded, gentle. In the ring, she was fire and heart.

She was my once-in-a-lifetime horse.

Cassie passed away a couple of years ago after 22 incredible years by my side. I am endlessly grateful for the time I had with her. She shaped the rider I became and the horsewoman I am today.

Over the years, I’ve worked at just about every type of barn you can imagine — hunter/jumper show barns, western trail barns, riding schools. I’ve managed barns, owned a barn, taught riding lessons, ran summer camps, and earned a degree in Equine Business. Horses have never just been a hobby for me, they’ve been my entire world. And I’m still learning. I probably always will be.

Nine years ago, I picked up a camera.

I had no idea it would lead me here, blending my lifelong love of horses with professional photography. Becoming an equine photographer felt less like a career choice and more like coming home.

As an equine photographer serving Central Florida and Ocala, I understand horses — their expressions, their quirks, their “good side,” and how to get those ears forward (yes, it’s absolutely a workout). More importantly, I understand what they mean to you.

Because I’ve been you.

Whether it’s fine art black background portraits, horse and rider sessions, sales photos, branding imagery, or competition coverage, my goal is always the same: to showcase the strength, personality, and soul of each horse I photograph.

I proudly serve clients throughout Central Florida and Ocala, including Orlando, Kissimmee, Winter Garden, and the Horse Capital of the World. Travel is always welcome.

Every horse I photograph matters to me. Truly.

They’re not just animals.
They’re partners. Family. Heart horses.

And it’s an honor to tell their story.
